This Guide apply only to PP Neverland 1.2 E2 IMG and newer.

For the time being this is PP IMG E2 produced only for DM500HD, DM800, DM7025 and DM8000

For the rest of the guide we assume the right img has been installed and properly set up.

Download and install EPG channel mapper



Usage:

1.
Get your bouquet files from the Dreambox.

Type Dreambox IP, Username and Password in the edit fields in upper right corner
and click the "Get DB Files" button.

You can view the FTP log window by using "FTP log (view/close)"
from alternative popup menu (right click).





2.
Download sourcefiles from PP-server.

Click the "Download sourcefiles" button.

If you don't have Internet access
the program instead will use backup files shipped with the initial installation.

In this version sourcefiles are available from 8 providers.




3.
Select the desired source and click the "Get Services" button.

The available services from the selected source now appears in the left listbox.




Now click the "Get Favourites" button and your bouquets will appear the right listbox.

If you click on the blue button over the favourites listbox, you can browse through your bouquets lists.


PLEASE NOTICE:
When selecting a xmltv source (NO mspc, SE tvsajten, GB radiotimes and I skyitalia)
a downloading and caching selection will be available under the sources listbox with 4 options.

The default selection is "EPG will be downloaded and cached".

You can make your own choice to fit your needs on each and every mapping you make.

The actual mapping is done by drag and dropping a service to the pink panel

You can also double click on the service
and the service name will be shown to the left of the mapping symbol (<===>).

In the same way you can now choose the matching service from your bouquets lists.

The bouquet service name will be shown on right side of the mapping symbol.

When you are satisfied with your selection double click on the pink panel,
and the service names will disappear from both the source and bouquets listboxes
and even from the pink panel.

Now continue to finish your mapping with the selected source.

Finally select from the drop down list beneath the bouquets listbox how many days (from 1 to 7)
you want to make the grabbing.





5.
When the mapping of the selected source is finished,
you can choose to save the mapping configuration file on your PC or to upload the file to your dreambox.

Click on either the "Save as File" button or the "Transfer to Dreambox" button.



The program automatically provides the files with the appropriate filename to be used
within the M xmltv-EPG plugin.

The program will transfer the file to Dreambox using the FTP information in upper right corner.

You can upload saved chan files at any time when you click the "From PC to Dreambox" button.

6.
After downloading/transferring the program can again enable a new source selection.

Thus you can continue mapping what's might be left in your favourites folder.

When the files have been transferred to the Dreambox
we have to make some configuration there as well.

Click on the blue button to get access to PP menu. Select number 4: EPG




First you have to decide where to store EPG data. USB have been chose here.

"Use EPG grabber" have to be yes

Now you have to select the same sources that you selected in the program.
If not it won't be grabbed.



Select yes on "Grab from MplugE2" if you selected a Chan file as source in the channel mapper program.

"Restart enigma2 after grabbing" have to be yes if you want enigma to be able to read the EPG data.

"Sett box to standby after grabbing" could be OK if you decide to grab during late hours.

If you want to use automatic grabbing enter yes on "use automatic grabbing"



When you are satisfied with your selections click on the green button to save.

It is also possible to grab manually from this menu, just press the yellow button.
